Submission Guidelines

All students enrolled in the HKBU MAIJS program are encouraged to submit their work for publication. Only stories that have already been submitted for a graded assignment or have been done outside of class are eligible. Please do not submit assignments that have not been turned in yet.

To submit a completed story for consideration, please send an email to Robin Ewing at ewing[at]hkbu.edu.hk with the subject line “Submisson for Lion Rock Tales.”

All articles should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document or as Google Document link with a minimum of one original photo (taken by you only).

Photo captions are r equired for all images and must include the 5Ws. If a photo was not taken by you, you need to have permission to use it and it must be labeled “courtsey photo.”

Video or photo stories should be sent as a link to Google Drive.

Work should be of exceptional standard with clean copy, a clear story structure, strong news value and a strong headline. There is no word count requirement. Please use AP style.
